• Holiday Stress?

    Grief in the Body ?

Perhaps you have much mixed emotions surrounding the Holidays. Maybe there's sadness, maybe there's memories associated that brings up grief, maybe there's emotional pain. What's supposed to be happy, joyful times, may not always translate to 100% happy, joyful times. And maybe that's hard to accept, and maybe there's some confusion around how one even feels, or how one is supposed to feel. Maybe you're carrying the burden, and you feel it.

If left alone, we still live, and we carry on.... And, also, what if we can work on some of letting off that heavy backpack the sticky emotions, and feel a bit lighter from dropping that weight? Would it make a difference in how we can ride through the wave of emotions during the Holidays?

Often times we are so focused on getting things done, and staying put together, that we don't give ourselves enough time and space to fully grieve.

Which is understandable. As often we might fear that, if we start the pandora's box of grieving, it can get overwhelming! Who would want to get overwhelemed!?!?

Thankfully there are some evidence based power tools based on long standing practices to aid in those times - to help process the stress in the body, to help improve our quality of life. (For reference, we are talking about decades of fear or negative memories, dissipating in an hour or less, potentially, though of course, individual results do vary.)

If this sounds interesting, and you'd like to learn more about my personal top 3 tools of self-regulation tools, read on ....

    An Invitation for Co-Regulation

Reeducating ourselves to better self-regulate is powerful. And there are times when the presence of others aids in further processing of grief.

There may have been times in your life where you received shocking news; where we felt such emotional pain that we are not sure if we can tolerate it or could carry on; there may have been times when we're not sure which path to take; or being too worried about what would happen to our loved ones, etc etc. When we have those experiences acknowledged and witnessed, it is easier for the body to process the shock, however in the modern, individualistic world, more an more of us have had to deal with such moments "feeling" isolated and alone.

That's where co-regulating can help. In our time together, we will As we witness, and are witnessed, we create a safe space where we allow some often set-aside emotional aspects come to the forefront.... giving us an opportunity to acknowledge the pain, and allow the shift to happen. By introducing and guiding you through some grounding mindfulness exercise to better regulate your nerves, you will be supported to come back to your center and reconnect with yourself in a very deep, loving way. If this sounds intriguing, please enjoy the workshop replays which goes on to explain how and why these tools work. Just watching these videos here, has helped many.

    About Mitsuko

  • MORE VOICE

My experience with tapping goes back a number of years, to the 1990s. I have seen, and helped others achieve really impressive breakthroughs, sometimes after just one round of tapping but have struggled to achieve similar results for myself. I recently had the opportunity to attend a Zoom tapping session with Mitsuko. The incorporation of the Havening Technique, and the calm and soothing delivery was very effective. To my great surprise, in just the few rounds I felt that I was accomplishing a lot, something I did not expect. I look forward to more Tapping with her in the near future.

"Mitsuko is always my go to person for breakthrough sessions. I place high trust in Mitsuko's skills and I am very happy with the results. The first time I had a session with her, I was able to discover my repressed memory that had haunted me my entire life. Mitsuko was able to help guide me out of that situation. The second time I had a session with her, it was after a very traumatizing event. It was for preventing the event from becoming a repressed memory for me. Once again, Mitsuko was able to safely guide me throughout the entire process and help me out of that emotional turmoil. I am very happy to be working with Mitsuko and all of the services she provide."
